Rhonda Nordan was elected to the Board of Directors in January 2025. She faithfully leads a Sunday morning small group, along with her husband, Jamie.
Rhonda has been saved for over 35 years and has made it her life mission to make an impact for the Lord in both her church and in her work. She has been a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor for 20 years and also worked as a missionary, school teacher, and interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing before that. She has worked with individuals not only in agency work but also in the church that struggle with areas such as addiction, depression, and anxiety, physical and sexual trauma. Her focus is to help others overcome personal obstacles and help to improve their wellbeing along with their relationships with those that they love.
Her educational experience is BS in Ministry, BS in Psychology, and MS in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. She has her clinical licensure as a LCAS and CCS (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor and a (LCMHC) Licensed Mental Health Counselor). Her passion involves reaching those that are struggling. She believes that pain and obstacles from the past are the ground work used to create something beautiful.
